One More Time Again

I knew that I would miss you,
But I didn’t know this much.
And now my world is empty
Without your life to touch.
And when I think about you
I lose myself and then;
I know I’d like to see you just
One more time again.

If you spoke but one word,
I would echo with two;
Carried straight to your heart
With a hope to break through.
To spare a loss from our lives,
And save the love we once knew.
Just a mere whispered word,
And I’d come searching for you.

        Tenor sax solo

Yes, I still care enough
That I’d answer your call,
With a plea from your heart
That I should break our fall.
To spare a loss from our lives,
And save the love we once knew.
You just whisper my name,
And I’ll come searching for you.

I thought that I would miss you,
But I didn’t know like this.
Now I’m left with memories
And I reminisce.
And when I think about you
I lose myself and then;
I know I’d like to see you just
One more time again.
I know I’d like to hear your voice
One more time again.
I know I’d like to see you smile
Just one more time again…

Forever

Where were you in the times of my life
When I walked alone, no one by my side?
Wondering why,
Love passed me by,
All of my life.

I was right here, waiting for you,
Wondering if my dreams would come true.
Hoping you’d see,
Something in me,
Waiting for you.

We took the long way here.
Detours down paths of tears.
We had some hills to climb,
But found our way, in time.

Where were you dear all of my life,
As I walked alone no one by my side?
Wondering why,
Love passed me by,
All of my life.

And I was right here, waiting for you,
Wondering if my dreams would come true.
Hoping you’d see,
Something in me,
Waiting for you.

        Violin solo.

Now we have joined our hands,
And at this altar stand.
Having exchanged our vows,
We’ll start our future now.

You will be here, close at my side,
And I will love you, all of my life.
So with this band,
Slipped on your hand,
Forever, my (your) wife….
